Future Work
There is a lot more that can be done with this project.
In terms of MATLAB, at the current time, we could not satisfactoraly tune the individual PI controllers for torque and flux to generate reasonable control responses for the entire system.
Future iterations of the hardware, meanwhile, could involve actually implementing field oriented vector control on the embedded system and higher power capability. This would require sensing the supplied currents using the current sense circuitry on our PCB and specifying higher power components along the power path.

Swap drain and source pads in FET footprint
Rotate LCD connector 180 degrees
Full-size banana plugs for power input
Better strategy for heatsinks
